Mystery Bounty Tournaments
The Mystery Bounty tournaments are an exciting variation of Knock-Out Flight tournaments. In these tournaments, players have the chance to win a randomly determined bounty from a bounty prize pool when they eliminate an opponent.
To put it differently, the Mystery Bounty tournaments are Knock-out Flight tournaments in which the players win randomly drawn bounties when eliminating their opponents, in addition to the regular prizes of the tournament. As in the KO Flights, the bounties in the Mystery Bounty tournaments are collected from players’ buy-ins (a configurable percentage of the player’s buy- in goes for the bounty, whereas the other part goes for the prize pool).
The Mystery Bounty tournament can contain up to several bounty pools depending on the number of players qualified for the Day 2 event. Each pool will have a different monetary value and frequency.
During the “Day 1” events, the players can only qualify for the main “Day 2” event (there are no bounties or prizes). The bounty phase begins with the start of the main “Day 2” event. The system randomly assigns all bounties to all players, and every time a player knocks out an opponent, they win their bounty. The entire amount of the bounty won goes directly to the player's balance. The bounty that a player can win does not depend on the position of the player in the tournament.
The Mystery Bounty tournaments are supported in all clients (Download Desktop, Native Mobile, and Web clients).
RULES
In Mystery Bounty tournaments, the mystery bounty prize pool is collected from the knock-out part of the player's buy-ins, while the other part goes towards the regular prize structure of the tournament.
To participate in the bounty phase of the tournament, players must first qualify for the main "Day 2" event by playing in one or more "Day 1" events. The goal of the "Day 1" events is simply to qualify for the next stage; there are no bounties or cash prizes available during the “Day 1” phase of the tournament.
The bounty phase of the tournament begins when the main "Day 2" event commences. The system determines the bounty prize structure based on the number of qualified players. The players are then informed about the total bounty pool and its distribution, including the highest bounty prize and all other available bounties.
Throughout the "Day 2" event, players can also check the remaining bounty prizes at their table using the Mystery Bounty widget. The widget updates in real-time as the tournament progresses, providing players with a clear view of the available bounties.
When a player eliminates an opponent during the "Day 2" event, they win a random bounty prize. The amount of the won bounty does not depend on the player's position in the tournament; the entire bounty amount is credited directly to the player's balance.
It's worth noting that the regular prize structure of the tournament applies in addition to the mystery bounties. Therefore, the tournament continues until only one player remains, and the winner receives both the main prize and any bounties they have won along the way. Overall, Mystery Bounty tournaments are an exciting and unpredictable way to play poker, with the added thrill of the mystery bounty prize pool adding an extra level of excitement to the game.
